The UConn's men's basketball team has symbolically turned the page from its fourth national championship season by completing the annual Husky run.

Wednesday's 3.4-mile race around campus marks the end of pre-season conditioning. The Huskies open practice on Saturday.

Coach Kevin Ollie ran the course with his team this year. The 41-year-old former NBA point guard finished the race in 21 minutes, 25 seconds, ahead of all but two of his players.

Senior guard Ryan Boatright says Ollie's participation sends a message, especially to new players, about how hard the coach expects everyone in the program to work.

Sophomore center Amida Brimah, voted along with Boatright as a captain, was the first player to finish in 20:22. Guard Omar Calhoun came in just in front of Ollie at 20:51.
