Berlin, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - United States and Hertha Berlin defender John Anthony Brooks faces up to two weeks out after sustaining a knee injury in training on Monday.
Brooks, 20, suffered a medial ligament sprain in his left knee which will force him to miss Hertha Berlin's winter training camp in Belek, Turkey.
He made a total of 29 appearances for Hertha last season as the club earned promotion to the Bundesliga. He has made eight appearances for Hertha this season and made his international debut for Jurgen Klinsmann's side against Bosina-Herzegovina in a friendly last August.
