The Minnesota Twins have recalled infielder/outfielder Chris Parmelee to Triple-A Rochester and have outrighted the contract of pitcher Jeff Gray to the minor league club.

Parmelee will join the Twins for a fourth time this season. He has appeared in 40 games for the parent club, entering Wednesday's action, and has batted just .204 with a pair of homers and six runs batted in.

The 2006 first-round draft pick hit .338 this season at Rochester with 17 homers and 49 RBI.

Gray appeared in 49 games for the Twins this season and was 6-1 with a 5.71 earned run average.
