Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota Twins have optioned shortstop Brian Dozier to Triple-A Rochester and recalled shortstop Pedro Florimon from the Red Wings.
Dozier, 25, batted .234 with six home runs and 33 RBI over 84 games with the Twins this season during his rookie campaign.
Florimon made his major league debut with Baltimore in 2011, going 1-for-8 with two RBI over four games.
