The Minnesota Twins acquired pitcher Lester Oliveros from the Detroit Tigers to complete Monday's trade for outfielder Delmon Young.

Oliveros pitched in nine games out of the bullpen for the Tigers this season and gave up five earned runs in eight innings pitched. He was 1-3 with a 6.43 earned run average along with five saves in 22 appearances at Detroit's Triple-A affiliate in Toledo and will be assigned to Triple-A Rochester.

The Twins had previously acquired pitcher Cole Nelson in the deal that sent Young to Detroit.
