Martin Truex Jr. claimed a $200,000 bonus delayed Daytona 500.

The inaugural "Daytona 500 Mid-Race Leader Award" went to the driver who led the way at the completion of the 100th lap in the 200-lap race at Daytona International Speedway.

Greg Biffle led the 99th lap, but Truex got a friendly push from fellow Toyota driver Denny Hamlin to put him ahead of the field on the following circuit. Truex also led at the halfway point in last year's Daytona 500, but there was no cash award for leading at halftime in that race.

The purse for this year's Daytona 500 is more than $19 million, with at least $1.43 million going to the winner.
