One of the top high school basketball prospects in America has died after collapsing during a game.

Terrell Coleman, 15, was playing in an all-star game Sunday afternoon at the Action Sports Academy in Stone Mountain, Ga., when he slumped over shortly after the opening tip, his mother told MyFoxAtlanta.

His father and two nurses gave Coleman CPR at the scene, but he was later pronounced dead at DeKalb Medical Center.

"His daddy gave him his last breath," Rashones Coleman told MyFoxAtlanta.

Coleman was a small forward who played Amateur Athletic Union basketball for the Atlanta Celtics. He was ranked 13th overall in the nation for basketball prospects who are graduating in 2017, according to Future150.com.

An autopsy is underway to determine the cause of Coleman’s death, but his mother says he had a heart defect and continued playing basketball despite a physician telling him not to last year.
