Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is pleased with his team's progress during the offseason but knows it means little if the Steelers can't build on it.

Pittsburgh wrapped up minicamp on Thursday and will be on a break until training camp opens next month.

Tomlin said he "feels good" about the foundation the Steelers have set over the last four weeks during voluntary organized team activities and the mandatory minicamp. Pittsburgh is attempting to regroup following a disappointing 8-8 season in 2012.

Barring any setbacks, Pittsburgh expects to near full strength when the team reports to Saint Vincent College on July 26. Linebacker Sean Spence and tight end Heath Miller may be the only exceptions as they recover from knee injuries.
