Lawrence Taylor has struggled staying out of trouble. Here's a look at some of his past issues.

August 1988 -- Tested positive for cocaine and was suspended by the NFL for 30 days.

March 1989 -- Arrested for DUI when found sleeping behind the wheel on the shoulder of the Garden State Parkway.

February 1991 -- Arrested after incident with cab driver.

1995 -- Enters rehab twice for drug abuse.

May 1996 -- Arrested in Myrtle Beach, S.C., for allegedly trying to buy $100 worth of crack cocaine from undercover agents. Avoided jail time with pre-trial intervention program and community service.

March 1998 -- Arrested after allegedly purchasing $50 worth of crack cocaine from undercover police officers in St. Petersburg, Fla. Taylor would later say, ""I had gotten really bad. I mean my place was almost like a crack house."

May 1998 -- Arrested for failure to pay child support. He was released after spending 12 hours in jail and paying $4,429 in back child support.

April 2000 -- Sentenced to 90 days of house arrest for filing a false tax return in New Jersey.

November 2009 -- Arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of traffic accident in Miami.
