The tournament that Tiger Woods used to own now feels more like a big practice ground.

Woods is coming off the worst score of his career. He has embarked on another swing change, and his short game looks awful. He is at Torrey Pines this week, but his mind already is on the Masters.

Woods said Wednesday at the Farmers Insurance Open that his goal is be sure he is ready for Augusta National in April. He says he has a lot of rounds to play before then, but this week could go a long way toward determining if he qualifies for the World Golf Championship at Doral.

Woods shot 82 at the Phoenix Open and missed the cut. He has won eight times at Torrey Pines.
