NEWTON SQUARE, Pa. (AP) — Tiger Woods figures he'll be playing this weekend at the AT&T National, just a lot earlier than he would have hoped.
Woods again hit the ball well and got little to show for it Friday in a round of par 70, leaving him at 3-over 143 after two rounds. That's likely to make the cut, although he was barely out of the top 70 when he signed his card. Woods made a few careless bogeys, including a 30-inch putt that he missed on his 17th hole.
Jeff Overton was bogey-free for the day playing the final hole and was 5 under par for the tournament at Aronimink.
The four first-round leaders who opened at 4-under 66 played the second round Friday afternoon.
