Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - PGA TOUR - Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, TPC Summerlin, Las Vegas, Nevada - The PGA Tour remains out west this week for the second event of the season at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Webb Simpson is back in the field this week as he looks to defend his title from a year ago. Simpson, the 2012 U.S. Open champion, fired a final-round, 5- under 66 to run away with a 6-shot victory over Jason Bohn and Ryo Ishikawa.

Simpson finished the week at 24-under-par 260. The win was the fourth of Simpson's career and he has not won since.

Also returning to action is 2014 FedExCup champion Billy Horschel, who is making his first appearance since winning two straight events at the BMW Championship and The Tour Championship.

Simpson and Jimmy Walker, a three-time winner on tour last season, headline the field as members of the United States Ryder Cup team from a couple weeks ago.

Jarrod Lyle, who is back after battling leukemia for the second time, received a sponsor exemption to play this week. Lyle also played in last week's Frys.com Open, where he made the cut and finished tied for 31st at 5-under 283.

PGA TOUR

PGA GRAND SLAM OF GOLF, Port Royal Golf Course, Southampton, Bermuda - Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Martin Kaymer and Jim Furyk head to Bermuda this week for the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

This event features the major champions from a season ago. With world No. 1 McIlroy winning both the Open Championship and the PGA Championship, Furyk received an invite to play this week. Watson took home his second Masters title in April, while Kaymer ran away with the U.S. Open Championship at Pinehurst No. 2 in June.

Adam Scott, who originally received the final invite but was unable to take part in the action this week, carded a 7-under 64 on the final day last year to earn a 2-shot victory over Justin Rose, Jason Dufner and Padraig Harrington. Scott, the 2013 Masters champion, finished his two days at 8- under-par 134.

This is a two-day event that begins on Tuesday and concludes on Wednesday. TNT will have coverage of both days starting at 4 p.m. ET.

The PGA Tour will be back east next week for The McGladrey Classic in Georgia, where Chris Kirk outlasted Briny Baird and Tim Clark last year to earn his second career victory on tour. Kirk has since won the Deutsche Bank Championship last month for his third title.

EUROPEAN TOUR

VOLVO WORLD MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP, The London Golf Club, Kent, England - Sixteen players are in England this week to take part in the Volvo World Match Play Championship.

Last year, Graeme McDowell defeated Thongchai Jaidee, 2 & 1, in the final match in Bulgaria to earn the title. McDowell went unbeaten throughout the four days and he was only forced to play 18 holes once in his third-round match against Bo Van Pelt, where McDowell emerged with a 1-up win.

McDowell is back in action again this week as he looks to defend his title. Joining McDowell will be fellow European Ryder Cup teammates Jamie Donaldson, Victor Dubuisson, Stephen Gallacher and Henrik Stenson. United States Ryder Cup member Patrick Reed will also be playing this week.

Others who will take part in this week's event are Jonas Blixt, Paul Casey, George Coetzee, Mikko Ilonen, Jaidee, Pablo Larrazabal, Alexander Levy, Shane Lowry, Joost Luiten and Francesco Molinari.

Golf Channel will have coverage of all five days of this event, which begins on Wednesday.

EUROPEAN TOUR

HONG KONG OPEN, Hong Kong Golf Club, Fanling, Hong Kong - The European Tour will also be taking part in the Hong Kong Open this week.

Miguel Angel Jimenez will look to continue his great play here as he took home the title for the fourth time in December. Jimenez also won in 2005, 2008 and 2012.

Jimenez birdied the first playoff hole in December to defeat Prom Meesawat and Stuart Manley. Jimenez fired a final-round, 4-under 66 and the trio finished regulation play at 12-under-par 268. The win was Jimenez's 20th on the European Tour. He also won the Open de Espana back in May for his 21st victory.

The 50-year-old Jimenez will look to make it three years in a row with a sin at this event. Both Meesawat and Manley will also be participating this week.

LPGA TOUR

LPGA KEB-HANABANK CHAMPIONSHIP, Sky 72 Golf Club (Ocean Course), Incheon, South Korea - The LPGA Tour remains in Asia for the third straight week as Amy Yang will look to make it two straight years with a win at this event.

Yang, who's lone victory on tour came at this tournament last year, birdied the first playoff hole to defeat Hee Kyung Seo. Yang fired a final-round, 3- under 69, which was good enough to force a playoff with Seo (68). The duo finished regulation play at 9-under 207.

Joining Yang this week will be five-time major champion Inbee Park, who will look to claim a victory on her home soil, and Shanshan Feng, who rallied to win the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia last week.

Also making her return to action will be Women's U.S. Open champion Michelle Wie, who withdrew from her last two events due to a hand injury. After hurting the index finger on her right hand, which forced her to withdraw from the Meijer LPGA Classic, Wie attempted to play at the Evian Championship, but she was unable to finish.

Golf Channel will have overnight coverage of all four days of this event, which gets started on Wednesday night.

The LPGA Tour remains in Asia next week for the Blue Bay LPGA in China, which is a new event.

CHAMPIONS TOUR

GREATER HICKORY KIA CLASSIC, Rock Barn Golf and Spa, Conover, North Carolina - The Champions Tour returns to North Carolina for the second straight week as it gets set to kick off the Greater Hickory Kia Classic.

There was a bit of excitement last year as Michael Allen made birdie on the first playoff hole to defeat Olin Browne. The victory was Allen's fifth on the Champions Tour. Since then, Allen has won for the sixth time at the Allianz Championship earlier this season.

Allen and Browne both had strong final rounds last year. Allen carded a 5- under 65 on the last day, while Browne joined him atop the leaderboard at the end of regulation with a 6-under 64. They both finished at 13-under 197.

Allen will be back in action again this week as he looks to successfully defend his title, while Browne is not in the field. Also playing this week is this year's Senior PGA and U.S. Senior Open champion Colin Montgomerie, who is second behind Bernhard Langer in the Charles Schwab Cup Standings.

Golf Channel will have three days of coverage of this event, which begins on Friday.

The Champions Tour returns for the third straight week next week for the AT&T Championship, where Kenny Perry defeated Langer in a playoff last year.
