New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Toronto FC selected 2010 World Cup veteran Robbie Findley in Stage 1 of Friday's MLS Re-Entry Draft.

Findley, who has made 11 appearances for the U.S. national team, joins the Reds from Real Salt Lake. He enjoyed two spells with the Claret and Cobalt, scoring a total of 36 goals in 137 appearances for the club.

The 29-year-old was one of three selections in Friday's Re-Entry Draft, while a pair of Sporting Kansas City netminders were also taken off the board. The Montreal Impact selected goalkeeper Eric Kronberg with the first overall pick and Andy Gruenebaum was picked up by the San Jose Earthquakes to complete the process.

Stage 2 of the Re-Entry Draft will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18.
