Denver, CO – Denver Broncos backup quarterback Tim Tebow replaced starter Kyle Orton to begin the second half of Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Orton completed 6-of-13 passes for 34 yards and an interception in a lackluster first half, as the Broncos fell behind, 23-10.
Tebow, the 25th overall selection in the last year's draft, rushed for a 12- yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.
The Florida product started three games for the Broncos during his rookie campaign, with his last start coming against the Chargers in a Week 17 loss.
Orton has started all five of the Broncos (1-3) games this season.
