Guan Tianlang will miss the cut at the Byron Nelson Championship after shooting a 7-over 77 in the second round Friday.

The 14-year-old amateur from China, who last month made the cut at the Masters and in New Orleans, had two double bogeys, five bogeys and two birdies during a windy round at TPC Four Seasons.

Guan shot an opening 70 and was among 97 players who shot par or better the first round. When he finished round two early Friday afternoon, he was 17 strokes behind leader Keegan Bradley, and only three players who had completed the first two rounds posted higher scores.

After a double-bogey 6 at No. 12, his third hole of the day, Guan had a birdie 2 on the next hole before five consecutive bogeys.
