Swansea's Bartley to miss three months with quad injury

Swansea, Wales – Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley has been ruled out for the next three months with a ruptured quad.

Bartley joined the Swans from Arsenal over the summer and made his debut for the team in the Capital One Cup match with Barnsley two weeks ago.

However, he is unlikely to return to action until December, leaving Swansea short on defensive options with regular Neil Taylor having already been lost for the season.
