Steelers WR Sanders out after knee surgery

Pittsburgh, PA – Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders underwent surgery on his injured knee Monday.

Sanders will miss a couple of weeks with the injury.

The second-year pro out of SMU suffered the injury against New England two weeks ago and missed Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Sanders has caught 18 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns in eight games this season.
