WASHINGTON – Otto Porter has put both himself and Georgetown into the top 10.
The Hoyas this week are No. 7, making them one of only one of four schools to crack the top 10 in each of the last seven seasons.
And Porter is in the top 10 of many NBA mock drafts, with scouts no doubt impressed with his all-around game that has lifted Georgetown to first place in the Big East headed into Wednesday's contest at Connecticut.
Porter had a breakout performance with 33 points, eight rebounds and five steals while playing all 40 minutes in Saturday's big win at Syracuse.
The sophomore forward has spoken to coach John Thompson III about the NBA. Says Porter: "We'll have to see after the season."
