Oklahoma Sooners senior wide receiver Ryan Broyles tore his anterior cruciate ligament during the third quarter of Saturday's victory over Texas A&M and will miss the remainder of the season.

Broyles immediately clutched his left leg after being tackled and was assisted off the field. He was seen in tears while conferring with team doctors on the sideline before being helped to the locker room.

Entering Saturday, Broyles had accumulated 1,070 yards and 10 touchdowns on 81 catches this season.

He made the 317th catch of his career in an October 15 win over Kansas to move into first place on the NCAA's all-time receptions list.
