Sevilla's struggles continued on 0 defeat.

The two sides entered the final 30 minutes of the match without a goal, but the hosts found two in quick succession to claim a third win in five games and move four points above the drop zone.

Carlos Vela opened the scoring in the 64th minute when he latched onto a cross from Xabi Prieto to beat goalkeeper Andres Palop.

The on-loan Arsenal man then turned provider a few minutes later to help extend the lead as Ruben Pardo scored from 20 yards after taking a pass from Vela.

Pardo's goal killed off the match as Sevilla's attack was never really able to get going.
