ASHBURN, Va. (AP) Washington Redskins nose tackle Kedric Golston is headed to injured reserve with an injured right hamstring.

Coach Jay Gruden announced the move Monday, a day after Golston was hurt on the first play from scrimmage of Washington's 27-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

The 33-year-old Golston was drafted by the Redskins in the sixth round of the 2006 draft.

To fill his roster spot, the team will bring up defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis from the practice squad, Gruden said. Ioannidis was a fifth-round pick in this year's draft out of Temple.
