Luke Sikma had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Portland to a 57-42 victory over Pepperdine on Saturday night.

Jared Stohl added 14 points and Nemanja Mitrovic had 11 for the Pilots (14-4, 2-1 West Coast), who held an opponent to a season low in points.

Keion Bell and Mychel Thompson had 10 each to lead Pepperdine (7-14, 1-3).

The Pilots appeared to be in control after taking a 38-26 lead six minutes into the second half, but Pepperdine got back into the game with an 11-2 run that cut the gap to 40-37.

The Pilots answered with a 14-1 spurt to push their advantage to 54-38 with 2:23 remaining.

Portland hit only 40 percent (19 of 47) of its shots from the floor, but the Waves were even worse, hitting just 31 percent (16 of 51).

Most of the poor shooting came from the 3-point line in the second half. Portland was 1-for-9 from the 3-point line while Pepperdine was 0-for-13 over the final 20 minutes.

The Waves also committed 19 turnovers for the game.
