Arizona Cardinals tight end Darren Fells is expected to be sidelined for 2-to-3 weeks with a sprained left shoulder.

Fells was injured in Sunday's 25-13 loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers. An MRI exam on Monday revealed the severity of the injury, per Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.

The 6-foot-7, 281-pound Fells has a pair of touchdowns on nine receptions through six games. He had four of those catches for 82 yards and a score in the season opener versus New Orleans.

Jermaine Gresham, a former first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals who is in his first season with the Cardinals, will slide into the starting lineup. He has five catches on the season but has been shut out in the past two games.
