Tulsa, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Skylar Diggins' bucket with 1.9 seconds remaining sent the Tulsa Shock past the Los Angeles Sparks, 69-67, on Friday.
Diggins, who finished with a game-high 22 points, tied the game at 67-67 on a layup with 42.4 seconds remaining, and after a miss by Candace Parker and a jump ball that went Tulsa's way, Diggins scored the deciding basket from seven feet out.
The Sparks called timeout and drew up a play for Parker, but her 12-footer was off the mark.
Jordan Hooper added 12 points for the Shock, while Glory Johnson netted 11 points with nine rebounds in the club's third straight win following an 0-5 start.
Parker put up 18 points on just 5-of-14 shooting, and Nneka Ogwumike posted a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards for LA, which has lost four of its last five.
