Manchester, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal revealed on Friday that defender Luke Shaw will miss "the next few weeks" because of an ankle injury.

Shaw damaged ligaments in his ankle during United's 2-1 win over Arsenal last weekend, and after it was first reported that he could miss the rest of 2014, Van Gaal said that the 19-year-old's injury is not that serious.

The former Southampton defender has started seven of United's 12 games in the Premier League this season after battling injury problems at the start of the campaign.

Van Gaal did have some good news on the injury front, however, as he said that both Marcos Rojo and Radamel Falcao could be in the team on Saturday when United faces Hull City.

Rojo has been out since suffering a dislocated shoulder at the beginning of the month and his return would help a struggling United back line, while Falcao returned to training this past week as he continues to recover from a calf injury which has kept him on the sidelines since October.
