Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres are expected to lose forward Cody McCormick for the next 4-to-6 weeks.

Sabres head coach Ted Nolan confirmed on Monday that the worst team in the Eastern Conference will be without the 30-year-old due to an undisclosed upper-body injury.

Nolan said McCormick suffered the setback during Buffalo's 2-1 OT loss on Saturday to Calgary when he blocked a shot.

McCormick has been held to one goal and four assists in 25 appearances this season.
