AUSTIN, Texas – South Carolina freshman forward Kayla Brewer will transfer to Texas and enroll in classes for the spring semester.
Texas coach Gail Goestenkors announced the move Thursday.
The 6-foot-1 Brewer played in seven games at South Carolina, averaging 13.9 minutes, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 points.
Brewer will be allowed to practice with the No. 22 Longhorns (11-3) but will not be allowed to play in games or travel with the team this season.
