Ryan Rossiter scored 28 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Siena to a 73-69 win over Canisius on Monday night.

The Saints (7-10, 4-3 Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference) trailed 69-68 after a 3-pointer from Gaby Belardo with 1:20 left on the clock. Rossiter knocked down two free throws with 59 seconds left to give Siena a 70-69 advantage.

Belardo, who led the Golden Griffins (8-9, 2-5) with 29 points, missed two 3-pointers in the final 26 seconds to seal the win for the Saints. Julius Coles scored 10 points and was the only other player in double figures for Canisius.

Clarence Jackson scored 15 points and Rakeem Brookins and OD Anosike added 10 apiece for Siena, which outrebounded the Golden Griffins 38-31.

The Saints avenged their 62-61 loss to Canisius on Jan. 7 by committing only 10 personal fouls and scoring 19 points off 11 turnovers.
