St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Colorado Rockies left-handed reliever Boone Logan underwent successful surgery to remove a bone spur from his left elbow.

The club stated Logan had the surgery on Thursday.

The 30-year-old had been placed on the 15-day disabled list on Aug. 27. He had gone 2-3 with a 6.84 earned run average over 35 appearances this season, but was sidelined due to inflammation in his throwing elbow.
