Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski left practice early Monday after pulling up short on a pass route during a 7-on-7 drill, according to multiple reports.

There is no indication yet on the nature of the injury, but it's obviously one to keep an eye on for the Patriots, who already will be without quarterback Tom Brady for the first four games of the season.

Gronkowski led the New England with 1,176 receiving yards and 11 touchdown catches last season on the way to his fourth Pro Bowl selection.
