The Philadelphia Union and New England Revolution played to a 0-0 draw at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, living up to their respective positions in the Eastern Conference table.

The two sides leave the match the same way they entered, separated by just single point - the Union (7-13-5) improve to 26 points as the Revolution (6-14-7) follow closely on 25 points.

The best scoring chance of the match came just before halftime when Freddy Adu's corner kick was met by Amobi Okugo, but the midfielder was denied his first professional goal when his header rattled off the crossbar.

New England managed just three shots on goal over the course of the match, failing to come close to breaking the deadlock as its winless streak stretches to 10 games.
