Washington State has hired Western Kentucky's wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator JaMarcus Shephard as new inside receivers coach, according to a report by Sports Illustrated.
Shephard played wide receiver at DePauw from 2001 -- 04, totaling 168 catches for 2,382 yards. He also left as the school's all-time leader in kick return yards.
Shephard will replace David Yost at Washington State. Yost left the Cougars earlier this month to become to quarterbacks coach at Oregon.
