Washington, DC – Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos has reportedly been kidnapped in his native Venezuela.
The news was announced on the Twitter page of Ramos' winter baseball club, Tigres de Aragua.
Details have not been made available.
As a rookie last season, the 24-year-old Ramos batted .267 with 15 home runs and 52 RBI in 113 games.
