Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers have fired bench coach Trey Hillman, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Manager Don Mattingly personally chose Hillman as his bench coach three years ago when he recevied the managerial position with the club and the two were close friends.
Coming a day after a post-season news conference where general manager Ned Colletti voiced his approval for Mattingly's return, the question remains heading into the offseason as to whether or not he will be back as manager.
