Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Casey ending surgery to repair a pinched nerve in his neck, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Blake, 38, has had three different stints on the disabled list this season.
"Obviously this neck thing is pretty serious. I want to be able to move my neck when I am 50," Blake said in the report.
The veteran third baseman is hitting .252 with four home runs and 26 RBI in 63 games this season.
He is in the final year of a three-year, $17.5 million contract with a $6 million-option for 2012 and a $1.25 million buyout.
