According to the San Francisco Chronicle, which cites a league source as per a report from Pro Football Talk, Gore's new deal is worth $21 million, $13.5 million of which is guaranteed.
Injuries last season prevented the 28-year-old Gore from a fifth straight 1,000-yard rushing campaign. In 11 contests, he totaled 853 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and caught 46 balls for 452 yards and two scores.
The Miami-Florida product fell to the 49ers in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and he has since played in 84 games with the club, averaging 76.4 yards per contest.
His 6,414 rushing yards rank third on the 49ers' all-time list. He has also totaled 44 touchdowns during his career.
