Landover, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Minutes after losing Robert Griffin III with a ankle injury, the Washington Redskins saw wide receiver DeSean Jackson leave Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a shoulder injury.

Jackson was trying to haul in a long pass from Griffin's replacement, Kirk Cousins, late in the first quarter but had the ball batted away by Josh Evans.

Evans came down on top of Jackson, who hit the ground hard and immediately clutched his left shoulder. Jackson walked off the field under his own power but was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

Washington signed Jackson as a free agent this offseason after the speedy wideout caught 356 passes for 6,117 yards and 32 touchdowns over six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
