Red Sox recall P Atchison

St. Petersburg, FL – The Boston Red Sox recalled pitcher A Pawtucket on Friday.

Atchison, 35, will be in his sixth stint with the Red Sox this season. He has appeared in 10 games, posting a 4.42 earned run average with 10 strikeouts and three walks.

The righty also appeared in 36 games for Pawtucket, including one start, going 6-2 with a 2.64 ERA, five saves, 72 strikeouts and nine walks.
