Madrid, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Real Madrid will attempt to snap a run of two straight La Liga defeats when the club heads to the Riazor to face Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.
The Galacticos have taken just three points from their first three games with the lone win coming against Cordoba in season opener.
Real Madrid returned to action with a humiliating 4-2 loss to Real Sociedad that saw Los Merengues concede four unanswered goals before falling in a derby match to Atletico Madrid, 2-1.
The reigning European champions were able to bounce back in Champions League play on Tuesday to the tune of a 5-1 defeat of Swiss side FC Basel, but the club has yet to hit such heights in domestic play.
But even with Real Madrid entering Saturday's clash six points adrift of first-place Barcelona, manager Carlo Ancelotti is refusing to push the panic button just yet.
"We are not thinking about the gap to the leaders, it's not the time to think about that, the season is long and we'll fight until the end," Ancelotti said. "I am sure that Madrid are going to fight for all the competitions until the end. Everyone must have confidence in this team. I do not understand people who doubt the team. Four months ago we won the European Cup. There is room to improve."
While Real Madrid must be afforded time in order to see new signings like Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez acclimate, one major concern remains in goal where Iker Casillas continues to struggle. Keylor Navas, meanwhile, is waiting in the wings for an opportunity to display similar heroics to those of his World Cup run with Costa Rica.
Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, was unable to transfer its league form into Champions League play as it suffered a 3-2 loss to Olympiakos on Tuesday. The Rojiblancos will attempt to bounce back on Saturday when they welcome Celta Vigo to the Vicente Calderon.
Also on Saturday, Athletic Bilbao will host Granada at San Mames before Malaga heads to the Estadi Cornella-El Prat to face Espanyol.
Barcelona sits in sole possession of first place in the Spanish top flight, taking maximum points from its opening three games. The Catalans will be looking to maintain their lead in the table with a positive result at Levante on Sunday.
Sevilla sits two points back of Barcelona in the table after taking seven points from its opening three games. The reigning Europa League champions will hope to keep pace by matching Barcelona's result on Sunday when it travels to Cordoba.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Villarreal will play host to Rayo Vallecano while Real Sociedad will welcome Almeria to the Anoeta.
Monday's lone match will pit Valencia up against Getafe while Friday's only La Liga contest saw a pair of first-half goals lead Eibar past Elche in a 2-0 victory.
