Raiders hire Hutson as tight ends coach

After an interim stint as Tulane's head coach, Mark Hutson has made the jump to the NFL.

A source told FOXSports.com on Saturday that the Oakland Raiders have hired Hutson to be their tight ends coach.

Hutson had spent the past five seasons as Tulane's offensive line coach. He also was the team's co-offensive coordinator at the time he was promoted to interim head coach last October after Bob Toledo resigned.

A longtime college assistant, Hutson also was a team captain and decorated offensive lineman at the University of Oklahoma in the mid-1980s.
