PSV Eindhoven has won the race for Dutch youngster Luciano Narsingh, agreeing to a $5 million fee with Heerenveen for the forward.

The 21-year-old was a member of the Netherlands squad for Euro 2012 and was also wanted by Ajax among other suitors.

"I think Narsingh is a good choice. With him in the squad now, we will have more options up front," PSV manager Dick Advocaat told Voetbal International.

"He is extremely talented given that he is only 21 years old. He has already made it into the national team. PSV will certainly prove to be a good step in his career in the coming years."

Narsingh's contract with Heerenveen was set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, and he tallied 13 goals in 62 games for the club since making his debut in the 2008-09 season.

Last term, Narsingh established himself as one of the top young forwards in the Eredivisie by scoring nine times in 21 games.
