PSG continued its poor start in Ligue 1 on Sunday, as it was held to a 0-0 draw by Bordeaux at the Parc des Princes to remain winless through three matches.

PSG needed a second-half brace from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to rescue a draw in its opener against Lorient in Paris, and settled for a 0-0 draw at Ajaccio in its second match last week.

Even with $300 million in transfers since last summer, PSG failed to score for the second straight match as it settled for its third straight draw to start the season.

Bordeaux had won its first two matches, and departs Paris with a point to stay two points off the pace of three-win Marseille. PSG is already six points off the pace.

Marseille 1, Montpellier 0

Montpellier, France - Andre-Pierre Gignac scored with 13 minutes remaining as Marseille continued its perfect start in Ligue 1 on Sunday with a 1-0 win over defending champion Montpellier at the Stade de la Mosson.

Marseille found the lone goal off a defensive mistake from Montpellier. Daniel Congre's poor clearance was collected by Morgan Amalfitano, who played Gignac into space for a shot under goalkeeper Geoffrey Jourdren.

Montpellier lost its second match of the young season to remain winless after three weeks.

Saint Etienne, France - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice as St Etienne crushed Brest, 4-0, on Sunday at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard for its first win in Ligue 1 this season.
