Pistons rookie Knight breaks nose

Detroit Pistons rookie guard Brandon Knight left Saturday night's contest with the New Orleans Hornets after breaking his nose.

Knight appeared to suffer the injury after catching an elbow from teammate Greg Monroe while battling for a rebound in the first quarter of the game.

Knight is averaging 12.9 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in his first season after being drafted eighth overall by the Pistons out of the University of Kentucky.

Knight was coming off a career-high 26 point performance against the Bucks on Friday night.
