St. Louis, MO – Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Charlie Morton left Sunday's 9-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals with discomfort in his left foot.
Morton record just five outs, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks.
The right-hander will undergo treatment and further evaluation in the next few days.
Morton had gone 4-0 with a 1.74 ERA in his previous six outings.
