Washington, DC – The Philadelphia Phillies activated relief pitcher Mike Adams from the 15-day disabled list prior to Sunday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Adams, who was sidelined with a right back strain, is 1-3 with a 3.00 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP over 17 games this season.
In addition, the Phillies optioned pitcher B.J. Rosenberg to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
