PGA of America announces task force to find solutions for mounting US losses in Ryder Cup

The PGA of America has created an 11-member task force to look into every aspect of the Ryder Cup.

The task force includes Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, the best two players of their generation who have spent most of their careers on the losing end at the Ryder Cup. It also has Rickie Fowler, who has yet to win a match in his two Ryder Cups. The other two players are Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker.

Davis Love III, Tom Lehman and Raymond Floyd are the past captains on the task force. The PGA of America has included three of its officers.

Paul Azinger and Ben Crenshaw, the only U.S. captains to win in the last 20 years, were not on the task force.
