Pittsburgh Penguins forward Richard to-6 weeks with a fractured foot.

Pens head coach Dan Byslma made the announcement following Monday's practice. Reports indicate that Park suffered the injury while blocking a shot in the late stages of Thursday's 3-2 loss in Philadelphia.

The 35-year-old native of South Korea returned to the NHL after a one-year absence, signing on with Pittsburgh. He has totaled two goals and seven points in 21 games this year.

He was selected by Pittsburgh in the second round of the 1994 draft and is a 13-year veteran.

In other injury news, Bylsma also revealed that defenseman Zbynek Michalek has been cleared to practice and that forward Jordan Staal is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Michalek has been sidelined with a concussion since November 26. It was not clear when or how Staal was hurt. He did not play in Saturday's 6-3 win against the New York Islanders.
