Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth all learned how to deal with the spotlight that comes with being a young driver achieving stardom.

It's the same lesson that Brad Keselowski is learning this week.

The defending Sprint Cup champion has been vocal about what he perceives as unfair treatment by NASCAR, even going on a profanity-tinged tirade last weekend in which he told reporters that they had "no idea ... what's going on" with things behind the scenes.

Keselowski and Penske Racing teammate Joey Logano are in the midst of appealing heavy sanctions handed down by NASCAR for unapproved parts that were confiscated last weekend at Texas.

Keselowski will start 33rd for Sunday's race at Kansas Speedway.
