Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Florida Panthers goaltender Tim Thomas left Tuesday's 2-1 loss against the Philadelphia Flyers with a lower-body injury.

"Just slightly pulled his groin, so I dont think it's anything long term but we will evaluate him tomorrow and see where he's at," said Panthers head coach Kevin Dineen following the contest.

When asked if it made sense to recall goaler Scott Clemmensen from San Antonio for upcoming back-to-back games against Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh on Thursday and Friday, Dineen answered in the affirmative.

The 39-year-old Thomas was pulled after just 7:31 of game action, having surrendered two goals on five shots.

On the second score, a floater from the right point by Philly defenseman Braydon Coburn, Thomas dove awkwardly on his stomach in the crease. He then exited the contest and went to the locker room.

Jacob Markstrom entered the game in relief and stopped all 13 shots he faced.
