St. Louis, MO – Mason Crosby kicked three field goals as the Green Bay Packers took a 19-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams in preseason action on Saturday.
Aaron Rodgers was a crisp 10-of-12 passing for 134 yards while B.J. Coleman had a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for the Packers, who bounced back from a shutout loss to Arizona in their preseason opener.
Sam Bradford was just 8-for-12 for 155 yards, while Austin Davis had a 79-yard touchdown pass to Nick Johnson in the fourth quarter for the Rams, who fell to 0-2 in the preseason.
Green Bay's first drive paid off as the team moved 64 yards in eight plays and got a 34-yard field goal from Crosby for a 3-0 lead.
The Packers added a pair of field goals in the second quarter, one a 48-yarder from Crosby and the other a 38-yarder from Giorgio Tavecchio with seconds left in the half for a 9-0 lead.
Green Bay continued with the field goals in the third quarter as Crosby hit a 30-yarder on the teams first possession of the frame for a 12-0 advantage.
In the fourth quarter, Andy Mulumba caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Coleman for a 19-0 lead, while Johnson and Davis hooked up on a 79-yard score late in the game to cap the scoring.
